The client expressed a need to restore the existing wood flooring areas back to their optimum condition, ensuring that those areas that were being restored flowed seamlessly between the other areas that were not being restored.
The MJF Group team carried out sanding works to revitalise the smooth, level condition of the floor prior to sealing the floor with a coating of Junckers Prelak wood floor primer, followed by two coats of Junckers HP Commercial, a premium quality lacquer that’s exceptionally durable and designed to be used in very high traffic areas.
Areas of Work:
Following a full sand and seal, the client requested us to stain the respective wood floor areas so that the colour matched the untouched, existing wood floor areas of the shop.
This proved to be an ongoing challenge during the project which was overcome with sample testing which determined the closest colour match.
Due to the retailer’s busy opening hours, this project was carried out during evenings to cause as little disruption to trading as possible.
